My Birthday and Valentine's weekend

This post is late but I thought I would recap my Birthday (Feb. 9th) and Valentine's day. My birthday is 5 days before valentine's day so I thought I would combine both posts into one. On my Birthday, I started the day off with going out to Breakfast with my husband and son to B.C. Cafe and then it was off to do boring taxes that day--I know, doesn't sound too fun but we needed to get them done. Then we headed back and I met up with my mom so that she could take me out for my "Annual Birthday Lunch".....We went out to Chili's and I also got a free birthday dessert! Then after that I headed out to Disneyland with Kevin while my mom watched Ryan for us. It was super cold that night and had just rained, so not a lot of people were there, so we were able to get on a lot of rides without having to wait in line a long time. We also went to Downtown Disney and went shopping and ate out. They also gave me a Disney fun card with $70 dollars on it because I went there on my birthday, so I got a lot of cool things for free!! I really enjoyed my birthday this year!

Now, on to Valentine's Day. A couple of months ago, my friend and I had planned on doing a double date for valentines. So on valentine's day we got ready and told our husbands to meet us outside and we surprised them with sparkling cider in champagne glasses and sweets for them. We drove them to the Victoria Garden's mall and surprised them with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Dinner was so good and, of course, dessert was delicious! We tried the caramel apple cheesecake this time. We walked around the mall and I also got a new phone that day (LG Dare). After dinner we had planned to go Cosmic bowling but that fell through and it was getting later and we had to pick up our son, so Kevin and I decided to go home and watch movies just the two of us. It turned out to be a very fun valentine's day with our friends.

Snow Day

I had soo much fun today taking my son up to the mountains for his first time in the snow. We went up with my mom, nephew and niece. Ryan didnt know what to make of the snow at first but then had a blast playing in it after awhile. It was super cold and started to mist a little so we only stayed long enough to have some fun before we had to go back home. Grandma and Ryan
